November 22 – December 21
Carrying a luminous torch, Sagittarius is on an everlasting search for wisdom and above all, the meaning of life. Across rivers of philosophical studies and up mountains of higher education, the starry-eyed gypsy travels to unimaginable corners of the mind. In search of answers, she drinks from the wells of knowledge at each divine destination.
But what good is knowledge if it can’t be shared? Riding her wild horse, Sagittarius shares her knowledge, then points her bow and flaming arrow towards enlightenment. That is where we all must go, she says. And so, we all follow the dancing deva across the winding yellow brick road of human consciousness.
Of course, the journey is more important than the destination. In the Sag playbook, the experience brings growth and wisdom, whether you make it to Emerald City or not. So, why not experience it all?
The philosophical gypsy may be deep, but she is also easy-going with a reckless grin that always says YES to another adventure. You see, it’s her soul’s path. The key to her evolution is to keep traveling to faraway places (both physical and intellectual). Even when the adventure turns into a misadventure, the sparkling free-spirit can always find the silver lining.
Once Upon A Time
There once was a compassionate and intelligent centaur named Chiron. Chiron was different from the other centaurs. While most centaurs would act out in foolish violence, Chiron would spend his days learning about the mysteries of the Universe. One day, Heracles had enough of the obnoxious centaurs and tried to wipe them out. However, he accidentally shot Chiron with his venomous arrow. Chiron was in so much pain, but alas, the immortal centaur could not die. And so, Prometheus stepped in to elevate Chiron to the cosmos, where he would live as the constellation Sagittarius. From the starry night sky, the sparkling constellation reminds us of his wisdom and infinite compassion.
