It was the darkest of nights in the Black Cherry Forest. Stars twinkled above, and yet the darkness was so deep and far-reaching that it seemed to swallow the entire mountain forest.

Still, this did not frighten the old wise Hermit. With his inner light guiding the way, he plunged into the depths of the forest.

Here, the Hermit had zero distractions. Not even a small critter. So, in quiet solitude, he listened to the whispers of his Higher Self. And step by step, he illuminated the secrets of the Universe.

Are you searching for your dharma or higher purpose? Your teachers may be wise, your parents may have life experience, and your friends may just “get you”. But, they don’t hold the answers you seek.

The Hermit teaches that there is a wealth of wisdom already within you. But you have to carve out a little quiet time to hear the whispers of the soul. When you make time for introspection, you wake up to a fresh perspective.

Of course, the message of the Hermit is not to retreat into your inner world for eternity. Instead, cultivate a balance between introspection and connection with others and the natural world.

When you do, your intuition starts to illuminate your next right step on the path to self-discovery and growth. Some may follow your bright light as you intuitively lead the way. And some may feel threatened by your evolution. Ignore any nasty comments and keep shining anyways! You will surely receive infinite rewards from the Universe.
