Goddess Selene Perfume DIY

The Greek goddess of the Moon, Selene, is as radiant and luminous as the Moon itself. The huntress of the heavens travels in her silver chariot across the night skies, reigning over the tides of the Earth, our dreams and intuition.

Call upon Selene with this DIY perfume when you’re at a crossroads and need to connect with your intuition. She illuminates the unconscious to provide mental clarity and perspective. Selene may even appear in your dreams to give some divine advice!

Pour the sweet almond oil into your container, then add the alcohol. Add your base notes (vanilla and sandalwood), followed by your middle note (ylang ylang). Next, add your top note (star anise).

Step 3

Let the essential oils diffuse into the mixture for at least 20 minutes. Combine with the lavender water, and blend with the stirring rod.

Step 4

Allow the perfume to mature for at least 48 hours in a cool, dry place to allow the scents to marry.

Step 5

On the Full Moon, use your perfume to anoint yourself, while calling upon Selene. May her energy illuminate the path ahead.
