Aries is a passionate leader. No other sign can spark action with such ease or confidence. With direct honesty (sometimes so direct it hurts!), these straight shooters lead their people to victory. Quick on their feet, Aries can pivot onto a new course if need be.

Once Upon A Time

The story of Mars (or Ares in Greece) and Venus is a passionate tale of two star-crossed lovers. It all started with a less than spicy marriage arrangement between the sensual goddess Venus and the god of fire/part-time blacksmith, Vulcan. Let’s just say that Vulcan didn’t do it for Venus. Not only was he old and unattractive, but he was like plain ol’ white bread — (yawn) boring.

Naturally, Venus found true love in the most dangerous place, the battlefield. In the heat of battle, she was love struck by the powerful and hunky god of war, Mars. The two souls were literally a match made in heaven — Mars was the yang to Venus’s yin and together they were a passionate powerhouse.

All was well on the steamy love boat, until Vulcan found out about the affair. And did I mention that Mars is Vulcan’s brother? Yikes! Vulcan was P-I-S-S-E-D.

And so, the pragmatic blacksmith crafted an invisible net and placed it around Venus’s bed. In the middle of getting it on, the two lovers were scooped up into the net like a couple of fish. Meanwhile, they had an audience with the gods, who laughed at the divine duo.

Nevertheless, Mars and Venus continued their affair and eventually gave birth to Harmonia, the goddess of harmony in marriage and partnership.
